A super rare bearded male dance  mask created in sterling silver from an area of Mexico where the mines were active in the late 19th/to early 20th c. This is one of the few surviving examples , some of which are in the collection of the Smithsonian Institute. Whimsical free hanging  animal and flower silver earrings are typical of this regions's  masks , and these bats are wonderful. La Parota, Guerero , Mexico late 19th c
