Beaded and embroidered headdress called a (shushut). Consisting of an open crown with a long tail consisting of beading , cowrie shells, brass bells and embroidery worn by Kalash woman living in the area one time called the North West Frontier Province but was re named to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa , Pakistan. The Kalash group live in three valley areas , Bumburet , Birir and Rumbu of the Chitral region. This is an older version probably dating to the 1950's or 60's and perhaps even a bit earlier.
