The Kalasha Kafirs sometimes referred to as Siah-Posh (the black-robed kafirs) live in one of the three Chitral valleys . These traditional black dresses are called (piran) and there are a few from the yarn group , with one from the more traditionally styled archaic group. Each has a large hand woven long sash with a fringe. I purchased all of these directly from the region which was originally called North West Frontier Province but now is called Chitral , Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.
Sizes vary and I consider them free size as they fit S, M and Small large .
