A Mixed media sculpture created by the artist / sculptor John Ziegenhagen.  He created an odd body of figural sculptures in the late 60's and early 70's that were pseudo sexual and also psychedelic in nature.  Plaster, and lacquer paint. It has a hanging mechanism on the reverse.

He also was the prop creator in an early x-rated film called Madame Zenobia in 1973 and many of those props were related to this and the larger body of work.  Singkiang has in its holdings three pieces of the artist's work.

From the estate of Roslyn Terg, who was the literary agent for Calvino, Henry Roth, Samuel Beckett, Erich Maria Remarque, Harold Robbins, Norman Mailer.

As it turns out Roslyn and I were neighbors for a bit whilst I was living on 13th Street. We probably walked past each other many times!
