Embroidered Fragment with Fountain 16th c /early 17th c

Early embroidery fragment, probably English, with a multi-tiered fountain of a type that is often associated symbolically with the Virgin Mary.  Late 16th c /early 17th century.  Presented in an antique Peruvian copper frame.
