Leather headband, fitted with enameled plaques set with glass cabochons on very high quality silver with hanging coins which have two sets of dates: 1299 /1881 and 1321 /1894. Anti Atlas, Tagmoute, Morocco.

I believe the central plaque with nob should be actually worn in the other direction so that the coins drop down. Shown in two positions. I see a style crown from the Crusades, when nob is going up.
