Designed by Coral Hunter Coad in collaboration with Singkiang / Linda Pastorino in the Atelier Carpe Diem workshops, this Victorian doll head's beauty is reflected in her paper weight eyes. Possibly French , this beautiful Victorian fashion dolls head is done in an early composition and dates to around 1875-80
The genus in Coral's design is the use of the up cycling of a Victorian Battenburg lace one off cuff from a once mourning blouse and used as the dolls cape, as well her grandmothers watch case used as the housing for the rolled paper reliquary. The silver plated Victorian food stand , antique dome, Japanese wood silvered sake stand and silver bow flower of a single vintage Mexican earring, all in collaboration with the great surplus hoard @Singkiang's Atelier carpe diem workshop and two like thinking minds at work , show what can be achieved when the right materials come together.
