Two large rings, created with silver and coral headdress ornaments.
The larger of the two has coral and a lotus blossom style concentric ring of repoussé design. This would have been from Kham province and worn as a plait decoration for a woman. An antique ring band of open work silver from Central Asia has been used to create a ring.
The smaller ring has silver repoussé work representing Buddhist gifts. The central stone is faux coral (Bakelite), inlaid with turquoise, and is original to the headdress - also from Eastern Tibet. The ring band is pure 999 silver.
