The Lakhe demon mask is based on a deity that originated in South India in the 11th century before making its way up to Nepal; the mask is primarily worn at the Indra Jatra festival.
Kali is the chief of the Mahavidyas, a group of ten Tantric goddesses who each form a different aspect of the mother goddess Parvati. Kali's earliest appearance is that of a destroyer of evil forces. She destroys the evil in order to protect the innocent.
Sizes: Small fits most women and smaller face structure. Large fits larger shaped faces and average male sizes. All masks include filter inserts; large masks also come with adjustable beads for straps and metallic inserts to ensure a proper fit. These decorative masks should be worn over an N95 or other CDC-approved mask for maximum protection.
