A re -discovered forgotten (packed since the early 80's) box of colorful summer weight hand embroidered rural skirts created by woman in Rajasthan. Purchased in India in the 1960's and hand picked for their personalized color palettes and hidden embroidery details (some having Hindi script and signatures ) varied hem details such as crocheted and pleated flounces. Lively unusual embroidery patterns and color mixes are a trade mark of these colorful Haute Hippie yet also rural folkloric traditional Indian designs.
All have dori tie waist bands and are one size fits all.
