A beautifully decorated late 19th /early 20th c wood chariot which would have housed a wood carving of Lord Jagannath. Normally worshipped in the state of Odisha, particularly in Puri.
However the decoration of this is typical of Rajasthan particularly the Jagdish Temple in Udaipur or the Jagannath Temple in Alwar where the Rath Yantra fair is celebrated. This is no doubt a personal home chariot shrine. Rajasthan, India.
