Frog King Kwok , (aka Kwok Mangho) A Chinese born mixed media artist whose installations, graffiti and performance art have been collected by major musuems. The artist created collection of art to wear jewelry made in the mid to late 80's, was created from re cycled and found materials and fau gem components. Sold in hundreds of boutiques and departments stores, his jewelry was hand created.
His installations have been exhibited at the Biennale , Everson Museum, Gracie Mansion NY , and many others. His Kwok Art Gallery was one of the first Chinese owned galleries in lower Manhattan and sponsored many up in coming Chinese artists who have later become very well known. He was also a founding member of the epoxy art group in the early 80's in NYC.
