Singkiang designed Victorian wool tapestry embroidered belt with antique hand forged brass Brutalist buckle. The combination of silver, brass, copper and agate is also in keeping with the materials used during the Arts and Crafts movement, which was very closely associated with the Pre-Raphaelite aesthetic. As the buckle was created in an Orientalist style, it married well with the embroidery band, in keeping with my global design interests and the concept of design history repeating itself - Nihil Sub Sole Novum.
